sexting

i cant believe that a girl would kill herself because of a stupid naked photo. i mean number one i could never imagine hurting myself but i mean that bullying must have been pretty severe to drive someone to take their life away. not to mention, Jessica looked like a pretty normal girl and for her not to be able to say eff that its my last year in high school and everything is gonna blow over eventually.... relaly makes you think about how bad the bullying actually was. i used to go to school in the states and i remmeber but since i did not experience high school over there i cant only imagine how badly bullying has evolved from one building to another.. anyways, i hope all those douche bags who bullied her are now sorry as hell and will think twice next time...

As for the law suit agianst the school by her parents, i think that is it only normal for that to happen. the parents are obviously going through a hard time and ONLY that family will truly be able to have any idea of what their daughter went through.... so if they feel a law suit is neccesary to try and put some justice towards their daughters death then they should go for it. Maybe the school that their daughter went to really could have done more. However, if they dont have responable belief that the school really couldnt have done much then the suit seems uncessary. If anything they should go agianst the people who spread the picture around and caused their daughter interminable distress.

the end :)

videoooo :)

I like this idea because I did it in 8th grade and although i dont remember exactly how to make it, I think with a couple lessons i could remember... i think it would be a fun idea as long as it wouldnt get too complicated and really just be for the fun of it because making videos can be very entertaining... I have an idea to do maybe like an advertising for Got Milk? but make it very exaggerated and funny but im not sure about that... and i would be working with heather and maybe just random people.

facebook

well I understand that people have been putting things up on facebook like pictures or videos of teachers or students.... and honestly as long as the tecaher os student isnt getting changed or fulfilling bathroom duties.... it should NOT matter if those toings are put on facebook.. if its really nothing wrong then whats the point... and especially in this school teachers (ms jenny) are so nosiey and LOVE to get into peoples lives (without considering the fact that they added them with TRUST) they still like to get involved and spread things showing us a perfect example of tattle tales... im sure we like to look up to that.. anyways if this means that facebook should be blocked.. thats ridiculous... i mean of course if a teaher uses the computer lab and says do not go on facebook well you just need to respect her wishes and if you get caught theirs a punishment.. but as for banishing facebook, it should not happen.. what if a student needs to use it for homework or just simply check it at lunch when they have noting else to do... we HAVE used facebook before for homework like to pass our bloggers urls and i have used it for yearbook class.. but seriously they have gone way over the top with trying to contorl this school and im sure there are other areas who need controling other than facebook...

Technology

Technology basically grew up with me. When I was born I think the first computer came out and it was huge!! I don't think I had contact with a computer until I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. However, color TV was of course everywhere at this time and cameras as well. I don't think digital cameras came out until around maybe the 6th grade but I know I didnt purchase one right away. The radio was also present and I remember it was very popular(more than today). I also remember my teachers using TV (like the news) and documentaries on VHS to show us important information.

In elementary school (although the computers were nothing like they are today) we still did things on there like type to learn and a bunch of educational stuff; just to try familiarize with computers. However, throughout the years technology has obviously gotten much better and faster!! Compared to the computers before and now, there are so many differences, like speed quality, memory space, and programs like windows and vista. The list goes on and on.

I also remember in Mr. Dave's class we worked on photoshopping teachers. It was actually really fun and we created some weird looking people. I also loved, back in my school in the states, making videos on windows media maker or whatever its called and we would go around campus during the period and film whatever our video was about. We did a day in the life of so and so. I believe my experience with technology in school was and is okay, maybe it could be practiced more but I honestly don't know exactly how. Maybe, just the basic of the internet, things we should know for internet usages and how to fix basic problems. As for using technology in other classes I think we should watch videos or anything that helps us remember information because honestly power points are not THAT helpful.

rodo project

This assignment at first I thought was going to be super hard however it was not as hard as I expected it to be. Even though I found using macromedia flash a little difficult to understand, at the end I realized that you just need some practice and the simple stuff really is just simple. I also noticed that others were able to do many other effects that I did not find but I think I just wanted to conquer the easy stuff first. I think that my action did not include alot of moving and thats also why it doesnt look as cool so I think next year seniors should be recommended to do an action that requires big movements.
